Prevent Twitter Auto Convert of Words to Hyperlinks

Clickable Link Text Twitter

Have ever tried using a word as a link in Twitter? Imagine you want to tweet with a website in your tweet, such as twitter.com, usually Twitter automatically converts this link into a t.co format and hence your tweet may not make much sense to your followers. There is a way to prevent this from happening on Twitter, all you need to do is add the ASCII equivalent of the (dot) or the period command instead of using the symbol itself. This is a pretty basic trick that any one can use.ASCII equivalent of (dot) is (.).

Here is an example -
Is this Twitter(.) ? This will show a Clickable Link Text.

What is Flipkart Wallet feature?

Flipkart Wallet

Flipkart has introduced a new feature called the "Wallet".This is just like an online wallet that you would own.In this new Flipkart feature you are required to input some money as a "Prepaid Balance" like how you would do on your Mobile Phones and then you can use this money in the future to make any payments on orders to Flipkart.

Flipkart Wallet new Feature

Who should use this feature?
Those people who regularly buy from Flipkart can use this tool to its full potential. If you are a one-time buyer or you rarely buy items from Flipkart, then you probably would not want to use this feature.

If you buy regularly from Flipkart, this can save you time since you only need to make a payment once and you can keep using it till it runs out.

What is the use of this feature for Flipkart?
Once you put in some money, you are restricted to buy from Flipkart, this loyalty that the Wallet brings is important to e-commerce sites.

Flipkart probably also uses this money as an investment, perhaps?Well the jury is out on that.

Someone Else Using Your Adsense Ads?

It so happens that it is so easy for someone else to use your Adsense Ad code, this can be a very troubling fact.I have seen many instances where people complain that other websites which they have not authorized are using their ad code.I have also seen many others complaining that their account was disabled due to some policy violations by sites which they had not approved, but were using their adsense ads.So what can you do to ensure that you do not end up in this kind of a predicament?

As you can see in the picture, in your Adsense Account you can check the sites that are running your adsense ad code in the "Sites" part of the report.I had this un-authorized website called 'harrisontechnologies' using my ad-code, now I do not know if it was on purpose or they used it inadvertently, but  I did not want them to use it.

So all I did was got to the allowed URL's option in my adsense account and set only the websites that I authorized to be able to use my Adsense Ads.

Once you have done this, the ads will continue to appear in the un-authorized websites but they will not be counted for any purpose.

All Indian Blogspot Blogs changed to .in instead of .com

Domain name change blogger in com

All the Indian Blogspot Blogs have got a domain make over from Google, all the domains that were previously of the format myblog.blogspot.com are now myblog.blogspot.in.This comes as a shocker of a change as it could have wide implications on the SEO of a Blog as well as the traffic it may receive from other countries.

There has been no official note through Mail by Google as to why this change has occurred. If any one of you receive any official statement please comment below.

The Implications of this new domain change may vary from SEO, Page Rank Loss, Alexa Rank Loss, Old Link juice becoming useless(But seems to me that all the links are just being re-directed to .in and not .com, so backlinks may still remain useful).

Rest assured we will get some sort of a work around if at all the old backlinks to the .com type blogs will be upheld. This is a similar process when you move from one domain name to another.Since Google itself has done it, I feel there is not much need to worry.

What is Modding/Chipped PS2 (Play Station)?

A Play Station 2 has features which enable it to play only Original DVD's of games or movies, which means you cannot play DVD's that you have made a copy of.Many people prefer to make a copy of the original so that they do not damage the original piece while using it.But with a PS2, you will not be able to play these back up discs, the reader just does not recognize these kind of discs.

Here comes the part of Modding or Chipped PS2.

Modding/Chipped PS2 is a method of making these back up discs playable on your PS2.The manufactured Play Stations do not come with an option to be chipped or modded, but you can do it yourself.

This process of Modding a PS2 can also be useful to play Play Station Games that you or your friends have created, that is it can be useful to play custom Play Station Games too.

I really feel that Sony should keep an option to Mod the PS2 as well as the PS3 so that we can all back up our originals for safety as well as play custom created Play Station games.

Google to India: No To Internet Censorship

Google released an Official reply to India's proposal to censor the World Wide Web, in India.People all around India are happy to hear that Google refused this impractical move to censor everything that goes on the Internet, be it  in Videos, Social Networks or Blogs.
Google India Censorship

Google felt that this plan can never be implied as the internet is a medium for people to express their views and opinions. Also they said that the Internet has no borders or fences, everything in the internet is inter-connected and hence the proposal cannot be put forth.

This comes as a piece of good news to all Indian internet users.

Google was not the only organization that India had contacted, they had asked for censorship from over 19 different internet organizations. The representatives of these organizations are required to attend a court date, where they will discuss the implications of such a move and also come up with a work around.

Why I Use Many Different Web Browsers?

Many people use multiple web-browsers, some of you may feel that one web browser is more than enough to access the internet to its full capacity. That is true but if you use the Internet like I do and want the security like I do then you would want to use different web browsers too.

Different Web Browsers

As you can see in the picture, I use 10 different web browsers. Here is the list of all the web browsers I use -
  • Google Chrome
  • Safari Browser
  • Internet Explorer
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Maxthon Browser
  • Opera Next
  • Avant Browser
  • Deepnet Explorer
  • SRWare Iron Explorer
  • K-Meleon Browser
Why I Use Many Different Web Browsers?
  • I make use of Different G-Mail accounts for different Google Services for Safety purposes.I could use the G-Mail multiple sign in feature, but that would undermine my security online.I like to be signed in always for easy access, hence I use different browsers to store my Mail and Passwords.
  • I also use many other E-Mail accounts from Yahoo and Facebook for other purposes such as Yahoo Answers as well as Facebook, I like to be signed in always for easy access, hence I use different browsers to store my Mail and Passwords.
  • I also use different browsers to test how my Blog looks on different browsers, you can learn to check how your blog or site looks on Apple iPad.
  • I also like checking out different browsers for new features which I may like to use, this allows me to keep up-to date on all that is happening in the world of Browsers.
So there you have it, I have reasoned out Why I Use Many Different Web Browsers?

Changes in Google Privacy Policy March 2012

Google Privacy Policy Changes
Google has put forth some changes to the current Privacy Policy and it would like to convey the message across to all the G-Mail and Google users. You should have already got an e-mail stating the changes, but if you are not a G-Mail user or have not received the Mail confirming the changes to the Google Privacy Policy, then you can learn about it here -

Dear Google user,

We're getting rid of over 60 different privacy policies across Google and replacing them with one that's a lot shorter and easier to read. Our new policy covers multiple products and features, reflecting our desire to create one beautifully simple and intuitive experience across Google.

We believe this stuff matters, so please take a few minutes to read our updated Privacy Policy and Terms of Service at http://www.google.com/policies. These changes will take effect on March 1, 2012.

This was the official message from Google and here we will explain some of the changes to the Privacy Policy.Google seems to have come up with a new motto, "One Policy, One Google Experience"

  • The New Policies put forth a deeper emphasis on integrating all the walks of Google, such as E-Mail, Calender, Google Docs, YouTube, Blogger Etc.
  • The New Policies ensure custom search query auto completion based on the Google Account you are logged in with.
  • The New Policies make it easier for you to share what you like to your Internet Community.
  • The New Policies also include some changes to the Search Integration with Google+
  • The New Policies do not undermine your Privacy, just as before.

Blogging Peaks: What to do once you get there?

What to do with a Famous Blog

Every Blogger sets out as a dreamer, with a dream to one day reach the summits of Blogging. If you are honest, hardworking, well-informed and love to blog, then in a couple of years you will get there, you will have a well ranked, popular and respected blog and also you would have created a brand name for yourself. Now that you have all these things, what to do next? You always used to dream about the next step, work hard to get there, but now you are the pinnacle, don't know what to do next? There are a lot of things you can do once you reach this point, first of all I believe there is no pinnacle as such, when it comes to Blogging. You always have space to improve, there are always little things you can make better, but I will tell you some of the stuff you can do when you feel you are losing the motivation that you once had.

Maintain
Just because you reached the top does not mean you are allowed to slack off or forget about your blog for days together.Keep updating the information, keep building an audience, ensure you install new features in your blog to remain up-to-date with the latest software and technology.Getting to the top is not the tough part, staying there is.

Columnist
Once you have proved your credentials as a great blogger, you can always take up a paid blogging role at an illustrious news website or an online journal as a columnist for your preferred niche.A classic example for this is Amit Agarwal of Labnol.org who is currently also employed as the Technology Columnist at The Wall Street Journal(India). Perks of this Job: A much wider Global Audience. More exposure to your blog than you already have. Well Paid Job.

Become an Author
You have already proved that you are a great writer as you have built a successful blog(in your niche) which has managed to grab the attention of hundreds of thousands of people, with the foundation of great content. So why not turn this great ability blogging into Book? eBook? You convey your message, just in a different way than blogging. Authoring a book can be much easier once you have worked hard to prove your blogging credentials as any publishing company would be happy to publish the exquisite work of a person who already has so many fans online. You need not worry about the sales numbers, as long as it is in the niche of your blog, then you can expect to make a good number of sales. The Best example for this is Darren Rowse, he has been an awesome blogger for more than half a decade and now he has dipped his toe into authoring.

Expand your Brand Offline
Once you reach a certain point of popularity, you can start to expand your brand offline, this may include souvenirs, books, accessories Etc. As of yet, I have seen only few Bloggers get into this, but I have seen many scores of YouTube Celebrities get into merchandising, they use their online brand power to sell T-Shirts, Coffee Mugs Etc.

Make specialized Apps
You can reach a new set of audience by creating apps for your blog that run on Android, iOS devices. Many top websites such as Espnstar.com and wwe.com use these custom apps to reach new audiences, audiences who otherwise may not have found the website. 6)Start a YouTube Channel Take your blogging to the next level, by introducing video-blogging, this is a growing field and this has the potential to nearly double your audience base as YouTube attracts millions of visitors each day.Tap into this vast resource, you can also apply to the YouTube Partnership for your blog's channel with Adsense and earn revenue from it.

These are just some of the things you can do once you reach the summit of blogging, be creative and think of some of your own.Remember, you can reach the clouds and beyond it you can only imagine.

Tata Photon Plus 32Kbps Speed Explanation

I wanted to help Tata Photon+ users understand when and why they would get only 32kbps speed through their USB Internet connection. Most of you might be wondering why your Tata Photon+ speeds have dropped like a ball of lead, I hope this article gives you all the information you need.

Tata Photon 32kbpsI had called up the Tata Photon+ customer service a couple of days back complaining about the extremely slow speeds that I was getting, .At first I spoke to one of the call center workers, I told them that it took 5 minutes to load some pretty basic websites.I was told to perform some trouble shooting using the "Run" command in my start menu. After I found no change in the internet connection, I called them back again and this time some other call center worker picked up and told me that I had exceeded 40% over the Usage in which I was getting 3.1 Mbps. That is if I had 5GB Usage at 3.1Mbps, after that I would get 155Kbps till 7GB, after that my speed would drop to 32Kbps.I asked them how they could change the plan for current users, who had originally purchased the plan and the datacard based on those earlier speeds. For that the person just told me to send an E-mail to customer service asking about it.I was already talking to customer service, but now they wanted me to E-Mail Customer Service again?

So that is the scenario folks, I feel the Tata Photon will lose some customers because of this new change of plan.

Twitter Aggressive Following/Follower Churning - What is it?

Twitter Aggressive Following/Follower Churning

Twitter is one of the most popular Social Networking sites which we all use, now one day we would not want to wake up and see that we have been banned from Twitter or that our account has been blocked.Yes this can happen, if you follow practices such as Twitter Aggressive Following and Follower Churning. These terms basically mean that if you follow a large number of people in a short span of time and again un-follow them in a short span of time, you could get banned from Twitter.

Why Twitter Aggressive Following/Follower Churning is wrong?

  • Twitter takes these drastic steps of banning people who do these stuff due to Bandwidth limitations Etc, If you go on Twitter and just keep following thousands of people one day and then un-follow them the next day, it causes a wastage of Bandwidth, which means wastage of money to twitter.
  • Secondly it causes a bad user experience to other people who are actually on Twitter for useful reasons.Twitter does not like it if you create a bad experience for others as this may reduce the number of users who log in everyday to their Website.

Do not worry if you are shifting through a daily 30 or 40 Follows and Un-Follows, but do not over do it, like hundreds or thousands of follows and un-follows either manually or by using Scripts or Bots.

Hence try not to get involved in such practices as surely you will get the Twitter Boot.

Above the Fold Page Layout Algorithm Change in Google Search

Google today announced that it has come up with a new tweak to the Google Search Algorithm, called the Above the Fold Page Layout Algorithm. This new Algorithm seems to penalize those websites and blogs who use too many ads above the fold, which causes a bad experience for internet users.Google basically does not websites showing up in their "Top Search Results" which have too many ads above the fold, which disturbs the reading experience of the Internet User.Basically this new Above the Fold Page Layout Algorithm targets to promote those websites which are concentrating more on the Content than the ads, those blogs and websites which have a clutter of ads above the fold, will lose out on the search engine rankings unless they can make changes to their layout and Ad Placement quickly.

There are two ways by which you can find out whether you have too many Ads above the fold or not -
  • Wait for a while and see if you drop in search engine rankings and lose traffic from Google Search. Then you can be sure that you have too many ads above the fold, but not to worry, as soon as you remove those ads and place them somewhere else and the Google Bots Re-Crawl your site, you will get back your search rankings.
  • You can use the Algo Checker - Which tells you whether your Website or Blog is following the guidelines that the new Above the Fold Page Layout Algorithm has defined. Here you can see the Picture of Geeks and Nerds Online, our blog, as seen by the new Algorithm during Indexing. If your Blog or Website looks something like this, then you can be relaxed and not worry much about your Blog losing out with the new Search Engine Algorithm change.
Above the Fold Page Layout Algorithm Change Search

I think having one Ad above the folded is considered standard, smaller the ad, better you will perform in the search engines. If you can have no ad at all, that would be even better.Although I am planning to make the banner size of my Blog a little smaller, so that I get more content into the "Fold" region.

This new Above the Fold Page Layout Algorithm is the biggest change in the Google Search Algorithm since the Google Panda Update, which caused a mighty stir in the Search Engine Rankings.

Matt Cutts has said that this Above the Fold Page Layout Algorithm will affect about 1% of the Internet search users, but if you are not into Search Engines, you will not really notice the changes in the Websites being listed, although you will get a better experience while reading a blog or checking out a website.I really like this new move by Google, this will create a better Internet for all as well as add another part to SEO which is removing Ads above the fold.

Check out this Video by Matt Cutts, Move to 20 Minutes for related info -

This may also have an affect on overall Google Adsense Earnings for Google as well as for individuals who publish these ads, as it has been globally accepted that higher the ads, more the revenue generated from it.So this seems to be a selfless move by Google.

Importance and Benefits of Guest Blogging

You have probably discovered something new called Guest Blogging and you want to know why people are writing guest posts when they can be writing content for their own blog. You probably want to know what the importance and benefits of Guest Blogging is.Here I will try to cover all the benefits of Guest Blogging.

Guest Blogging Importance Benefits

Backlinks
If you want to increase your sites performance on Google Search, you would probably want to get more backlinks from other blogs and websites, the higher the Page Rank of the blog you are writing a guest post for, the better the link juice provided by them.If you get a few Page Rank 4 or Page Rank 5 links back to your site, it can drastically increase your search engine rankings.Backlinks count as "votes" for your website and hence your site becomes more visible in the search engine. This process will not happen overnight, but it will take some time for you to see the results and hard work of your guest blogging.

Exposure to new Audience
When your articles get accepted and published on a top blog, then you as an author of a blog get more recognition, a lot of people learn your name. These people have the potential to become your blogs new readers, if they liked what you wrote while guest blogging.Hence the more articles you write on a wide variety of blogs, the more exposure to new audiences you get. This is also an important benefit of Guest Blogging.

Increased Social Network
Some blogs allow you to have your social network links in your Author Bio section, with the help of which you can gain more number of Facebook fans, Twitter Followers, Google Plus Circles and even YouTube Subscribers. This expanded Social Network can in turn lead to more audience, again.

Guest Blogging Importance Benefits 2
Money
Some blogs pay you money to write for them, this is called paid blogging and when sites do this, they may not allow you to have links back to your site, but they do allow you to have links to your social networking profiles. Some bloggers get paid handsomely and are a making a full time living by writing great quality content for other sites and blogs.

Some sites also allow you to have your own Adsense Ad-Codes in your article, we are one such site.We give 100% Adsense Revenue share to the author, but first your article needs to be of good quality and original writing.

Guest Blogging Importance Benefits 3

Traffic
If not any of the above mentioned benefits, Guest Blogging can bring you at the least good quality traffic. My 2 week old blog manages to get 500 views a day, this is because of a good network of guest articles I have written on other blogs, this seems to have increased my rankings in Google search as well.

If you get published on a very popular blog, you can expect to get at least a thousand hits from the article to your site, if you can convert these visitors to regular readers, then you will start to increase the popularity of your own blog.

So realized the importance and benefits of Guest Blogging? What are you waiting for? You can start guest blogging right here on this site, for more visit - Write For Us.

Facebook References in Popular TV Culture

Social Networking is taking over the world for sure, already these sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Orkut, YouTube, My Space are some of the most visited websites in the world, portraying the popularity of the concept of Social Networking.Good Investors see this as the new bubble to cash in and have started introducing the likes of Facebook into popular culture.Today I will not discuss anything to do with The Social Network Movie or any other movie that has a Facebook base, but I will concentrate on the other forms of popular culture where Facebook has been used such as YouTube Videos, TV Pilots, Music Etc-

The Five Days of Facebook - A video made by Indian artists that depict the expectations from Facebook and the reality of it.

Vodafone Facebook Musical Ad - An Ad made by Vodafone with a very catchy musical based on Facebook as the central theme. Sadly there is no official video available online.Everyone remembers the song " He's always on Facebook......."

Facebook references in Pilots
There have been many Facebook references in Pilots, I will only be able to reference a few of them here as I do not even remember all of them!

1)90210: Naomi Clark talks about how Liam Court had been on her Facebook page often because he likes her.

2)Gossip Girl: Many references by Blair and Selena about Facebook Profiles.

3)Big Bang Theory: Many References again, one of which is Leonard sulking over his Ex-Girlfriends relationship status on Facebook.

Howard's many instances of asking girls to take photos with him for his Facebook Profile.

4)Simpsons: An episode in season 22 (I think) where Mark Zuckerberg is featured as the Facebook creator, who meets Nelson (The School Bully).

5)South Park: An episode called "You have 0 Friends" shows many references to Facebook through out the episode.

6)Supernatural: In season 5 Episode 8, Dean says to Sam: "A bloody violent monster and you want to be Facebook friends with him?"

7)Modern Family: In season 1 Phil Dunphy announces that he has 447 Facebook Friends.

There are a lot more such references excluding the movies, so if you know any please comment below and I will make sure I will include them. The reason I did not include movies here is that I am going to write a separate article about that in the future, stay tuned for that.

Top 5 Best Customized Blogger Blogs

Blogger Blogs are known for their simplicity and ease of use, but there are extremely limited options for bloggers to customize their blogs without knowing much about HTML and CSS.So it takes some skill and a lot of work to customize Blogger Blogs to meet your specifications.Of course you get a lot of Blogger Templates, but they need a lot of work before they become usable, and if you are doing it for the first time, custom templates can be a real headache and it may look like its an impossible task. But after a few tries you can start getting the of HTML and CSS customization. These are some of the blogs that are hosted on Blogspot platform, but have been customized to a great extent -

1) Labnol - The Blog: One the blogger blogs that started the blogger customization era, the blogger blog is currently not being updated as it has moved to a custom domain. But you can still see some pages in the Google search as well as the Homepage which is pretty awesome if you ask me.The Blog was previously designed very differently, with a standard looking blogger template, but was re-designed to look like the custom domain to maintain the brand consistency. The Blog also has its own customized search and internal traffic distribution systems. One of the best features of this blog is the Footer, which is very simple, attractive and effective.

Labnol Customized Blogger Blog

2)Widgets for Free: A Blogger widgets specialist blog, which has been well modified over a template which was designed by TheBlogTemplates. The Theme has some good features, like a custom banner(Not the header) above the magazine style layout.Overall a very simple and concise theme which feels good when a user enters the blog.I also have to say the comments section is pretty good too, looking at the number of comments each post gets.

4)Official Google Blog: This may seem like a standard Blogger Blog template and theme but it is not.You do not get this template anywhere, unless you are good enough to recreate one which looks like it.The official Google Blog uses a template that is very simple and also uses all the standard blogger features such as the Blogger Favicon, the Blogger menu bar on top, obviously they have to use them as they have designed blogger themselves, so they do not really have the option of removing these features. You can get similar white templates but you will not get the same.

5)Tech Drag Info: Another well structured and designed Blogger Blog which rounds up my top 5 best customized blogger or blog-spot blogs.I really like the header here with integrated Social Networking buttons right in the header itself! As you can see the header image has probably been designed using Image Mapping, or linking different parts of an image to different links. This kind of Image Mapping is usually used to make YouTube Banners but in this case it has been used to make the header for this blog. The Magazine style seems to be a common feature for most of the blogs on this list.

Introducing the New YouTube Player Story Board

YouTube is 'the' best site for video sharing and is a site that gets a millions of video views everyday, so to keep up with this, YouTube keeps developing the video player, adding new features, removing bugs and changing the styling of the video player. Now YouTube has come up with a new feature called the "Story Board", a feature that will allow users to easily skip to their favorite parts of a video with the help of thumbnails for every second of the video.Let me tell how this works with the help of a video, created by Digital Inspiration TV.

YouTube used to usually have just three thumbnails for a video out of which we could chose one to represent our video, but this new "Story Board" feature works a little differently. What it does is it creates a storyboard full of thumbnails for every part of a video and then when someone hovers over a part of the video on the video timeline, they will get a thumbnail of the video at that point of time in the video. With the help of this new feature, you can easily skip to any part of a video, knowing which scene you want to watch.YouTube has promised to come up with more features in 2012, we can only wait and see what they will be.Also check out How to Officially Remove YouTube Logo from the Embedded Player.

Google Adsense Launches Official Toolbar for Chrome

Google Adsense has officially launched a new extension for the Google Chrome browser which allows you to immediately access your Adsense earnings and reports with just one click. The Adsense Publisher Toolbar allows you to see your earnings of Today, Yesterday, Last Month and the Current Month. The Adsense chrome extension also shows you your top performing Channels or Ad Units.

Adsense Chrome Toolbar Official Extension

The most exciting feature, is something totally new, which is your LifeTime Adsense earnings, which shows the total amount of revenue you have earned through adsense ever since your adsense account was started.

The Installation is pretty standard for any chrome extension, the extension asks your Adsense account for permission to view the earnings, you need to approve of this, after this you can easily check your Adsense Earnings easily, this tool is especially useful for those who check their adsense earnings very often.

If you use this tool when you are viewing your website, you can see the reports in an 'overlay' mode where it will show you the earnings of each and every Ad Unit on that page.

This tool can be extremely useful if you have multiple G-Mail accounts, you can use your Adsense G-Mail account for your extension and in the browser itself, you can use a different adsense address.

Overall, something new from the Adsense team which you should all check out.

Why you should Move from WordPress Blog to .com or .org

WordPress is a great platform for new bloggers, it is easy to use, no great knowledge of HTML or CSS required, easy posting, free Etc.But once you get to a certain point in your popularity, you will want to grow your blog out of the limits of the MyBlog.WordPress.com sub-domain.Here are some reasons why you should shift to a .com .org or .net, your own custom domain-

Transfer WordPress Blog to .com .org .net custom Domain

  1. WordPress Sub-Domains have a select few templates that you can use, unlike blogger, there are not many ways to use custom templates or themes in WordPress. But with your own domain, you can choose whatever the theme you want and quickly install it using the WordPress Site Builder software, which is compatible with any major Hosting service, such as HostGator.
  2. Once you shift to your own custom domain, you can finally place Ads such as Google Adsense on your site and start earning revenue from the popularity of your blog.
  3. With the help of WordPress Plug-Ins, you can invite users to write for your blog and also you can have a revenue sharing system which works automatically, where in it places Ads of a certain person on his own articles, this revenue sharing feature is at the moment only for Google Adsense.
  4. You can alter the commenting system in your new Website built with the help of WordPress Site Builder if you did not like the commenting system. You can add CommentLuv, Facebook Comments as we at Geeks & Nerds use, Disqus Comments or even Intense Debate Comment system

Apple iPad YouTube PlaylistThe Official YouTube application for iPad does not support the feature of playing videos continuously, or in other words playing a playlist. The YouTube mobile site also does not support this feature, we are yet not sure why YouTube has not enabled this feature on iPad yet.But if you are a video junkie who loves to watch videos seamlessly and do not want to manually click on the next video to start, then you can this very useful app for iPad that allows you to watch YouTube videos continuously without having to do any manual shifting of videos. The great thing is that it is a free application, so you can just download and stat using it.This application can also be used on an Apple iPhone.

All you need to do is type in your username or some other users username and it will get you all the videos in the public playlist as well as the favorites list so that you can watch them without interruption. The private playlist of any user will not be available, not even your own private playlist will be available as the application does is not capable of connecting to your YouTube-Google Account.Hence you will need to be satisfied with just the Public Playlist whilst using this application.

Increase WiFi Signal Strength using Aluminum Foil

Extend WiFi Range with Aluminum Foil

WiFi routers emits rays which can be easily reflected by a simple household aluminum foil, which are used to cover food stuffs. This way you can save up on buying a new better router or buying a WiFi range extender. All you have to do is get a piece of Rectangular or Cylindrical piece of aluminum foil and put just behind the antennae of the router, now the aluminum foil will reflect the rays to which ever part it is facing increasing the range of the WiFi in that direction.

WiFi signals cannot pass through the aluminum foil, hence they get reflected and it leads to this phenomenon.

Twitter Buttons usually come in Java Script form, which can slow down your page load time by a small amount, but HTML scripts have no such disadvantage, so why not use HTML for your Twitter Button either in WordPress hosted blog or website or even in a Blogger Blog.

This HTML Code has a few advantages -

  1. Faster Page Load Time.
  2. Shows number of times a Page was Tweeted.
  3. Recommends up to two Twitter Accounts to everyone who tweets using this Twitter Button.

1) For Self Hosted WordPress Blog - Just Insert this code anywhere in your Template, the place where you want to Twitter Button to be seen.

2)For Blogger Blogs - Just Insert this Code just before <data:post.body> or just before the footer of the Blog, while in Edit HMTL tab.

<a expr:href='"http://twitter.com/share?text=" + data:post.title + "&amp;url=" + data:post.url + "&amp;via=myaccount1&amp;related=myaccount2"'>Tweet this!</a><br><div style="clear: both;font-size: 7px;text-align:left;"><a href="http://product-reviews-prices.blogspot.com/2012/01/add-twitter-button-in-html-no-java.html" target="blank"><font color="black">[HTML Twitter Button]<font></font></font></a></div></br>
